Matthew Meyer, CPT, RRCA Run Coach
Matthew Meyer has a heart that beats for adventure and exploring what is possible. Born and raised in Colorado, his love for the outdoors came at an early age. As an avid runner, cyclist, hiker, and skier, there was never any shortage of activity. After graduating from the University of Northern Colorado in 2015, he pursued a career as a running and strength coach in New York City. He found his calling in coaching individuals and small groups of athletes with big race dreams. But after cutting his teeth in the city, the mountains called him back home to continue to work with more incredible athletes.
Meyer is a Certified Personal Trainer and RRCA Run Coach. For him, consistency is key. It’s the accumulation of days into weeks into cycles that you find the most progress! Especially for endurance athletes, changing how we feel about strength work within our training cycles is a huge stepping point to reach that next level.
Matthew wants you to reach for your greatest potential, and exceed it. In his strength classes and one-on-one coaching, he loves to work with clients that are coming back from injury all the way up to high end performance training! With a combination of knowledge and discipline, together you can reach for your goals and enjoy the work!
Happy to be back as a Boulder resident, Matthew has found a great community in running for Boulder Underground, joy in having adventure right out his front door, and constant love and support from his dog, Ellie Pickles.
